Emily has been part of Weddings by Bretta since 2021. She is a certified wedding and event planner with hundreds of weddings behind her, and she is also an experienced officiant. That means she can guide your day from the first planning meeting all the way to the moment she pronounces you married.
Before weddings, Emily served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an aircraft rescue firefighter and later worked as a teacher. She holds a bachelor's degree in sports administration and a master's in education and journalism. That background shows in every wedding she plans: a sharp eye for detail, steady organization and an outstanding work ethic. Two minutes with Emily and you'll feel like you've known her for years.
Emily lives in Bargersville with her husband and daughters. When she isn't at a wedding, you'll find her with her family, planning her next trip (Italy is her favorite), reading a good book, or at hot Pilates and yoga, thanks to Bretta.

- She ran a 50-mile race and placed third.
- Her high school, Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington, is the one from the movie 10 Things I Hate About You.
- She was in Thailand during the 2004 tsunami and is thankful to have survived it.
